| feedback-section-drawing-rules | Standing Rhino/Grasshopper conventions for extracting sections and laying out 2D drawings — numbered method options plus always-follow layout/dimension/deletion rules |
|
Section extraction method convention — when the user asks for a section by number, it means:
- "1번" = manual method — extract curves via BrepPlane, place dimensions/labels by hand into a manually-built 2D box/frame
- "2번" = Rhino native ClippingSections + ClippingDrawings — live-linked to the 3D model, refreshed via
UpdateClippingDrawings - "3번" = a ClippingPlane object cutting the section visually directly on the 3D model (no 2D curve extraction)
Always-follow rules for section/drawing work:
- Sections always go in the middle cell of a 3-split A1 frame box.
- ClippingDrawings' auto-generated black name text dots (e.g. "AA", "BB") always get moved outside the drawing box.
- Always ask the user before deleting any object in Rhino.
- Two-tier dimension convention: the 2nd-tier (outer/total) dimension line sits 1000 units away from the 1st tier; only the leg segment below the arrow extends (add a stub manually below the bottom point, length = 1500, i.e. 15 at 1:1 print scale); arrow position and the length protruding above always stay as they currently are — never change those.
Why: these are standing preferences the user set for prior P1 section-drawing work (captured in reference-notes-md) so that repeated requests ("2번으로 뽑아줘" etc.) and drawing layout stay consistent without re-explaining each time.
How to apply: apply these rules by default on any Rhino section/drawing task in this project (and likely future pier projects per project-pyeonggang1-modeling-standard), and treat "before deleting, always ask" as a hard rule regardless of project.
